CEC is the second largest electricity utility in Zambia. It owns extensive transmission and distribution infrastructure which enables the movement and supply of power to mining companies and non-mining consumers in the Zambian Copperbelt and beyond. - An international transmission interconnector with the capacity to carry 500MW

- 80MW thermal power plant
- 1MW solar PV power plant
- State-of-the-art control centre
